Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 29, 2026

Hare N’ Husky Co. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides photography services and operates harenhusky.co. This policy explains how we handle information about website visitors, prospective clients, clients, and people we photograph.

We use information to respond to inquiries, arrange and deliver photography services, manage payments, and obtain separate permission for promotional use of adult images. We do not send newsletters or marketing emails. We never use photographs of minors in promotional materials. Client photographs are retained indefinitely unless a complete media purge is requested after delivery.

1. Information you provide

When you contact us, arrange a session, or request services, we receive the information you provide. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, session date and location, photography requirements, correspondence, and mailing address for prints. We also maintain booking agreements, invoices, transaction details, and any permissions or releases.

We create and process photographs of session participants. Photographs may identify people and reveal details about their appearance, surroundings, or relationships. Image files may also contain technical metadata, such as the capture date and camera settings. Please avoid sending sensitive information unrelated to your request.

Our website does not offer public comments. All photography booking requests must be submitted through our online LatePoint booking form. We do not accept bookings by email. Email is available for questions, support, and changes to existing bookings; include your booking confirmation number in the subject line when contacting us about an existing booking. LatePoint is the WordPress plugin used to manage booking requests. When online booking is available, it collects the contact details, selected service, requested date and time, and other information you submit to arrange your session. Booking and customer records are managed through our WordPress website and its hosting environment. Submitting a request and paying a deposit does not confirm an appointment. We review logistics and confirm accepted appointments by email. The form records your acceptance of the applicable booking terms. Confirmation and refund requirements are explained in our Pricing and Booking Terms. Any customer login or booking management features made available through LatePoint are used to manage appointments, not public profiles.

2. Website hosting, email, and technical records

Have Freedom Hosting is our independent website and email hosting provider. Hare N’ Husky Co. uses its services as a customer; the businesses are unaffiliated. The provider processes website traffic, hosting records, and email communications as needed to operate and support those services.

Website systems and hosting or security logs may record your IP address, requested pages, visit times, browser and device information, referring pages, and technical errors. These records are used for operation, security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. Email systems process message contents, attachments, sender and recipient details, and delivery records.

3. Google Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and improve the website. It processes information such as pages viewed, visit activity, device and browser information, referral sources, approximate location, and cookie or similar identifiers. Google processes analytics information under its applicable terms and privacy practices. We do not intentionally send client names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or photographs to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is the only analytics or advertising tracking service we currently use. We do not use other advertising pixels. The website does not currently provide an on-site control to accept or reject analytics cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. These controls do not necessarily prevent hosting or security logging.

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies to measure visits. Other website technologies may store information needed for functionality or security. Learn more through Google’s Privacy Policy and its explanation of data handling on sites using Google services.

4. How we use information

  • Respond to inquiries and prospective booking requests.
  • Confirm arrangements, coordinate sessions, and provide agreed services.
  • Process, store, deliver, and print photographs.
  • Manage payments, invoices, refunds, and business records.
  • Discuss and document separate promotional permission after a paid session.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the website and storage systems.
  • Respond to privacy requests, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

We do not send newsletters or marketing emails. Client communications concern prospective or existing bookings, related service matters, and separate requests for permission to use an adult’s likeness. Website analytics is described separately above.

5. Photograph processing, storage, and delivery

We process originals and edited photographs locally on our computers, then upload them to self-hosted cloud storage operated by Hare N’ Husky Co. This storage is separate from our website and email hosting service.

We provide watermarked previews for review and one included revision round. Final unwatermarked edited photographs are delivered through a password-protected album link sent by email after approval and full payment. Review deadlines, delivery periods, and inactive-order closure are described in our Pricing and Booking Terms. Closing an inactive order does not automatically delete its media. Anyone who obtains both the link and password may be able to access the album. Keep these details private and download your own copies before requesting deletion.

We retain originals, edits, and related digital media indefinitely unless a client requests a complete media purge after delivery. This is our retention practice, not a guarantee of permanent availability, recovery, or protection against data loss.

6. Printing, mailing, payments, and other providers

For included or agreed prints, we supply selected photo files to a local printing company. We do not separately provide the printer with client names, contact details, or mailing addresses. The images themselves may identify the people pictured. We collect and package the prints and mail them ourselves in protective mailers. Postal or delivery providers receive the recipient’s name, delivery address, and shipment details needed to deliver the package.

When electronic payments are offered, the payment provider identified at checkout or on the invoice processes payment information under its own privacy practices. We receive the transaction information needed to confirm payment and administer the booking. Our payment provider has not yet been finalized; this policy does not represent PayPal or any other processor as currently selected.

LatePoint is the booking software used on our WordPress website; selecting this plugin does not mean the developer receives every booking record. Any enabled payment, calendar, or other external integration may send the information needed to its respective provider. We will identify additional providers and update these disclosures when such integrations are introduced. Booking and confirmation emails are sent through our configured email service. If we introduce an electronic signature service, we will identify it and describe the relevant handling of documents, signatures, and verification records before use. No particular signature service has yet been selected.

We disclose information to providers as needed for the purposes described here, rather than promising that only we can ever access personal information. We do not sell personal information for money or provide client photographs or booking records to third parties for their independent advertising.

We may also disclose information where required by law or valid legal process, or where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, disputes, or threats to safety.

7. Optional promotional use of adult images

Booking and paying for a session does not grant permission to use your likeness in promotions. Promotional permission is optional, does not affect your booking, price, or services, and is discussed separately after the paid session rather than during booking. We do not charge for granting this permission or compensate clients for promotional use.

Before using identifiable adult images in our website, public portfolio, social media, advertising, or other promotional materials, we obtain explicit written permission identifying the agreed images and uses. This may be documented through clear email authorization or a signed release. One client’s permission does not automatically authorize promotional use of other people pictured.

You may contact us to withdraw promotional permission or request removal. We will stop future promotional use, remove affected content under our control, and make all reasonable efforts to remove or redact it from other platforms and digital or physical publications. This includes asking third parties to remove copies and withdrawing or replacing physical materials where possible. We cannot guarantee recovery of materials already distributed or removal of copies independently saved, reposted, cached, or retained by others.

8. Minors and parent or guardian authorization

We may photograph minors in safe, appropriate sessions arranged with written authorization from a parent or legal guardian who has authority to consent. A parent or legal guardian must attend and supervise the minor’s session. We may request reasonable confirmation of that authority and pause or decline a session where consent or custody authority is disputed. We respect a child’s discomfort or refusal to participate.

Photographs of minors are processed, stored, privately delivered, and printed as needed to provide the authorized services. We do not use photographs of minors in advertising, promotional materials, public portfolios, or promotional website or social media posts, even if a parent or guardian offers permission. Consent to the photography session does not authorize promotional publication.

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from them. Booking and privacy communications concerning children should be handled by an authorized parent or legal guardian. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information without appropriate authorization.

9. Complete media purge requests

After delivery, a client may request deletion of all digital media associated with their session under our control. An authorized parent or legal guardian may make an appropriate request concerning a minor. We may verify your identity and authority before processing a request, particularly where a session includes multiple people.

A complete media purge covers originals, edits, backups, exported files, hosted albums, and all other digital copies in our possession or control. We disable the relevant album links and apply the removal practices described above to published materials. Download any photographs you wish to keep first. Once deleted, media cannot be restored or supplied again.

We cannot delete copies independently held by clients, printers, postal providers, or other third parties, but we will make reasonable removal requests where appropriate. If a legal obligation or preservation order prevents deletion of particular material, we will explain the restriction where legally permitted and limit retention accordingly.

10. Other records and retention

Correspondence, booking agreements, invoices, payment records, and signed permissions have no fixed retention period and may be kept indefinitely, including in our self-hosted cloud, unless removal is requested. These records are distinct from the photographic media covered by a complete media purge.

We assess requests to remove those records and delete information where appropriate. We may retain records needed for legal or tax obligations, accounting, disputes, fraud prevention, or documenting permissions and their withdrawal. Where possible, we retain only what is needed for the remaining purpose. Providers may also retain their own records under their policies and legal obligations.

Analytics information follows the Google Analytics settings and applicable Google policies. Hosting and email logs follow the relevant operational and provider retention practices. We do not promise a specific retention period for those records.

11. Security

We use reasonable measures intended to protect information under our control, including password-protected client albums. No computer, email service, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted access. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information and protect your own devices, downloaded images, and album credentials.

12. Privacy requests and choices

Contact contact@harenhusky.co to ask about information we hold, request correction or deletion, withdraw promotional permission, or raise a privacy concern. Applicable rights depend on your location and the laws that apply to our business. We may need reasonable information to verify a request; please do not send identification documents unless we specifically request them through an appropriate method.

Browser cookie controls and Google’s opt-out tools provide additional choices described above. We do not currently provide an on-site analytics opt-out, and we do not represent that browser “Do Not Track” or other preference signals automatically disable Google Analytics on this website.

13. External services and policy changes

External websites and services handle information under their own privacy policies. We will update this page when our practices or providers change and revise the date above. Introducing a booking, payment, or signature service requires reviewing and updating the relevant disclosures. This policy describes information handling; photography prices, deliverables, and booking obligations are addressed in our Pricing and Booking Terms.
